Wow, so I haven't posted a journal entry in a very long time.. I guess I haven't really felt the need to xD

I don't seem to update too much on DevA because I tend to only upload finished bigger pictures, which I'm now struggling to find the time to do.. so I thought facebook would be an easier place to keep up to date!

So this is my first time doing a feature for the amazing group !

It's a fantastic group where you are assigned a profile of a random unknown deviant to make a gift for, and for each gift you send, another deviant will send you something in return! It's lots of fun and rewarding too

Each month there's a voting contest on gifts received, so here are the winners for July:

Most popular gift

'My Owl' by was incredibly popular and came in first place way ahead of the other gifts. No wonder since he looks adorable and very soft - amazing work considering it was her first time making a plushie too!

Second most popular gift

's on a roll claiming second place as well as first! I personally think 'Quilled Wolverine' is absolutely fantastic - all of the detail and time put into creating this was well worth it - a stunning piece of art.

Joint third most popular gifts

'Ocarina of Time Shields Fridge Magnets' by is such a great idea! I don't know too much about Zelda but I recognised the shields, and what a genius idea to create them into magnets! No doubt they will look amazing wherever they are put.


Two deviations by me also came in joint third and I'm stunned! I very much enjoyed working on them both

Well it was another good month of inspirational ArtCrossing gifts!
I'll be a bit busy for a few weeks now (starting uni!!) so I won't be requesting profiles a bit, but I'm certainly looking forward to seeing the creations others come up with!

Went to the deviantmeet yesterday and it was pretty darn amazing
Met some crazy people, made an evil red-eye bead octopus and some lucky stars, and received too many free hugs to count!
All in all, my idea of a successful day
